Why “While We Still Can”?

This name conveys together two truths:

There is urgency. Many people feel lonely, disconnected, distrustful, or angry. Fewer people know their neighbors. Many spend more time mediated by screens than in meaningful public life with others. Our common life feels thin, fragile, and divided.

There is still hope. We believe it is not too late to gather differently, that people can still reflect together, speak honestly, listen generously, and recover the language needed to pursue the common good.
